RAV4 TPMS Reset

Official procedure for 2013 models.

Before you start

  • Check all 4 tires
  • Vehicle must be stationary
  • Ignition must be ON but engine can be OFF

Adjust all tires to the cold inflation pressure listed on the driver's door jamb sticker.

Turn the ignition switch to the 'ON' position (press the Start button twice without hitting the brake).

Reach under the driver's side dashboard and locate the 'SET' button (it has the TPMS icon).

Press and hold the button until the TPMS indicator light on the dash blinks slowly 3 times.

Wait a few minutes for the initialization to complete before turning the vehicle off.
